Many Indian famous actors who have taken their own lives. In this post, I will tell you some of the cases of suicide by Indian actors, both male and female.
Sushant Sing Rajput
Sushant Sing Rajput was an Indian famous actor. He was born on 21st January 1986, Patna. He started his career with a television series actor. His 1st debut film is KAI PO CHE. After that he performed various movies; Suddh Desi Romance, PK, M.S Dhoni, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy, Kedarnath, Chichore. On June 14, 2020, at 34 age Sushant Sing Rajput committed suicide at his home in Bandra, Mumbai.
Jiya Khan
Jiya Khan was a Bollywood film actress. She appeared in three Hindi films between 2007-2010. On 3 June 2013, she was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her bedroom, in Juhu Mumbai. She was the niece of Pakistani actresses Sangeeta and Kaveeta.
Kushal Punjabi
Kushal Punjabi was an Indian film and television actor he won various TV reality game show. He also acted in various movies also. He had also appeared in a number of television series. He had been professional modern jazz and hip-hop dancer and choreographer . on 26th December 2019 at the age of 42 years, he committed suicide by hanging.
Nitin Kapoor
Nitin Kapoor was a producer in Bollywood films. His wife was a south Indian actress, Jayasudha, and cousin of renowned actor Jeetendra. He committed suicide by jumping from building on 14th March 2017 at the age of 57. According to his wife, he suffered from bipolar disorder.Pratyusha Banerjee

Kuljeet Randhawa was an Indian model and actress. She is best known for her work in TV series. On the 8th of February 2006, she committed suicide in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Divya Bharati
Divya Bharati was an Indian and Telegu renowned film actress in the early 1990s. She was regarded as one of the most popular and highest-paid Indian actresses of her time. On 5th April 1993, she died on accidental death in Versova, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Kunal Shing
Kunal Shing was a popular Indian Tamil film actor. He was acted in 18 movies. His death in 2008 from apparent suicide garnered significant media attention.
Preksha Metha
Preksha Metha was a television actress. She was from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and came to Mumbai and started her career as a theatre artist. Preksha Mehta was just 25 years old and had appeared in TV shows like Crime Patrol, Meri Durga, and Lal Ishq. Not just TV, Preksha was also seen in Hindi cinema actor Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Padman’. Actress Preksha Mehta committed suicide at Indore home due to financial issues on 25 May 2020.Gurudutta
