29 Traditional Famous Indian Dishes from 29 states of India. India is the most unique country in the world. It has its own culture which belongs to unity in diversity. We all know India has 29th state and they all have their own famous dishes. Which we are going to discuss in this blog with the video below.


   

1. Jammu & Kashmir - Rogan Josh

Rogan josh is a famous red meat preparation Jammu & Kashmir states. The main ingredients of this dish are lamb, goat and It is colored and flavored by alkanet flower or root and Kashmiri chilies. The dish was introduced to Kashmir by the Mughals.
 

2. Himachal Pradesh – Channa Madra

Channa Madra is a Himachali famous dish. Mainly its a Himachali style curry. In this dish, Chickpeas are cooked in a yogurt sauce along with spices like cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, cumin, turmeric powder. Channa Madra is a very popular dish in Himachal Pradesh. Madra is mainly coming from the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. These dishes represent the authentic food culture of Himachal Pradesh.

Indori Palak Puri is one of the best item in Madhya Pradesh region Indori palak puri is a mouth-watering dish, It’s made with palak and wheat flour.
 

9. Gujarat - Khandvi

Khandvi is a common Gujarati cuisine of India It consists of yellowish, tightly rolled bite-sized pieces and is primarily made of gram flour and yogurt.
 

10. Bihar - Litti Chokha

Along with chokha, is a complete meal that originated from the Indian state of Bihar. The main ingredients are whole-wheat flour and stuffed with sattu (gram flour powder). Cooking and serving of litti. The best littis should be cooked in low fire and chokha (Spicy Mashed Potatoes).
 

11. West Bengal - Shorshe Ilish

Shorshe Ilish is a Bengali dish, Shorshe Ilish (Hilsha) is an emotion of Bengal. It's cooked in mustard gravy, with mustard oil and chills. The dish is popular among the people in the Indian states of West Bengal.
 

12. Assam - Spinach Khar 

Spinach Khar is a typical Assamese dish. These preparations made with a key ingredient, fish and spinach. Fish is fried in mustard oil or curried with bottle gourd or spinach.
